The President of the Republic of Albania Ilir Meta received this Friday the new Ambassador of the State of Israel to Albania, Noah Gal Gendler, who presented his Credential Letters.

Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj held a visit this Wednesday at Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem.

Albanian Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj was received this Wednesday in a meeting by Israeli Minister for Regional Cooperation, Tzachi Hanegbi.

I was privileged to meet Norman exactly once, on February 19, 2019. We met in The Palace, an aptly named assisted living facility in Coral Gables. Having made phone contact a few weeks prior to my visit,  I introduced myself as a New York rabbi living in Albania. He became as eager to meet me as I was to meet him.

Bardhyl Canaj, Albania’s ambassador to Israel
