Ambassador Canaj had fruitful talks today, with the Chairwoman of the Albanian-Jewish Community in Israel. Felicita Yakoel. Mrs. Yakoel, has been praised for her personal engagement in boosting relations within Albania-Jewish Community, and has been awarded by Albanian Government with the prestigious title “Shqiponja e Arte” and “The Ambassador of the Nation”.

Due to COVID-19 situation, almost all diplomatic activities are being held via digital platforms, nevertheless, Felicita was happily welcomed in our premises, to discuss about our common projects such as the Jewish Historic Museum in Vlora district, contribution of our Albanian-Jewish community in this endeavor, offering historic facts, documents, photos and objects, reflecting the historic roots of this community in Albania and its essential role in Albanian society.
