Albanian Ambassador to Israel, Dr. Bardhyl Canaj, met with conductor and cellist Alex Wasserman. He is currently the music director and conductor of the Ramat Gan Symphony Orchestra.

“It was a great pleasure to meet in our premises the conductor and cellist Alex Wasserman. He is currently the music director and conductor of the Ramat Gan Symphony Orchestra. He is consider a leading Israeli composer and his works have been performed in Israel, USA and Europe, with an outstanding career and a doctorate degree in composition from The Julliard School in New York.
He holds several awards such as Norfolk Chamber Music Festival Fellowship, Aspen Music Festival Scholarship, Albert Szirmai Scholarship, and Henry Mancini Fellowship. Alex is acknowledged for our public during his artistic cooperation with Albanian talented pianist Almira Emiri and opera singer Sivan Rotem, during their concert three years ago in Jerusalem, performing a repertoire from “Society for Jewish Folk Music”.
Next project will be a cooperation with Albanian Opera House at the beginning of 2021”, writes the Albanian Embassy on Facebook.
